Caña Flecha
This vegetable fiber similar to reed (Glynerium Sagitatum) is found in the north of Colombia. The Sinu people know this fiber since 800 years and the tradition of weaving has survived. The fiber is naturally white and is dyed in black/brown with natural dyes. The braids are made by women and the assembly of the braids is done on sewing machines. The quality of the fiber, the weaving and the numerous stitches make the final product very strong.
