Panama Hats
Legendary fine strax hats, completely hand-woven in Ecuador since the 16th century. The straw is « Carludovica Palmata » or « toquilla » straw. The fineness of the straw and the weaving determine the quality of the hat. Our first quality is Brisa 3, followed by Brisa8 and the Montecristi.
The hats are either withened or dyed before the laying of external band and internal cotton band. The BOB hat is the same worked in crochet, with makes it unbreakable.
We also customize the Panama Hats in our workshop in Brussels with ribbons of different colors and materials.
